To ensure we can accommodate your preferred dates, we recommend bookings be made 2 – 4 weeks in advance of your intended arrival date. However, you may book with less notice subject to room availability.

Arrival and Departure

All programs begin on a Sunday

  • Arrival time: Between 2pm and 3 pm Sunday
  • Program finishes 11:00am on a Friday

Please contact us should your circumstances require an exception.

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of $500 per person is required to secure your reservation. This is most easily done over the phone with your credit card (Mastercard and Visa only); however, deposit payments may also be sent by cheque, money order, or direct deposit. Your booking will be confirmed in writing after funds have cleared our bank account.

Discounts

A 10% discount is available for returning guests. A 15% is given for persons on a full Centrelink payment such as for Pensioners, Disability etc.

A Centrelink card must be produced on arrival to receive the discount. If a booking is made for both a returning guest and they are also on a Centrelink payment then a maximum of discount of 15% applies.

Balance

The full remaining balance is payable on or before arrival. We accept cash, cheque, money order, direct deposit, EFTPOS, or credit card (Mastercard and Visa only).

 Cancellation and Refunds

Reservations cancelled or postponed more than 14 days in advance of arrival are fully transferable and must be used within 12 months. Cancellations within 7-14 days will in addition incur a $100 rebooking fee.

Cancellations for bookings within 7 days are not transferable and the deposit is forfeited unless another booking is made by someone to take the place of the cancellation, and which a deposit paid can be used at another date within 12 months. We often have a waiting list and it is sometimes possible to fill a vacancy due to a cancellation but this cannot be guaranteed. There are no refunds or credit given for early departures.

Transfers

Return transfers are available from from Moss Vale, Bowral, or Bomaderry train stations for $75, or $325 from Sydney airport. One-way transfers are half the return price.

What To Bring

  • Comfortable casual clothing
  • Bathers and a dressing gown for treatments
  • Personal toiletries
  • Slippers and/or thongs
  • Good walking shoes plus a clean pair of shoes for inside
  • Personal items for spare-time activities (e.g., reading material, camera, binoculars etc.)
  • Medical records and laboratory test results, if applicable

What NOT To Bring

  • Tobacco or alcohol products as these items are prohibited on the property
  • Illicit drugs or substances that can be used to alter your consciousness
  • Junk food
  • Candles, incense or anything that produces smoke or naked flame

Free WiFi Internet

Free wifi is available anytime, limited to 250mb per guest per day. Most guests find this more than enough for emails, news headlines and web research, while it protects our limited satellite data plan.

Plan to download/upload any large files, movies, etc. prior to your arrival at Cedarvale. Using video/audio streaming services (e.g. YouTube) on our wifi will quickly use up your 250mb daily allowance.

Mobile Phone Reception

Most guests really appreciate that there is no reception at the health retreat building. However, it’s just a five minute walk to get coverage in most cases.

Guest Phone

Calls may be received on our private guest phone anytime. The phone number is provided to guests on booking and may then be given to friends, family or work as desired. Calls can also be made from this phone if necessary.
