Each guest has the opportunity to participate in preparing delicious plant based recipes under the professional guidance of our kitchen staff. This is where the real learning takes place. Its one thing to see or read about great recipes made, but to actually do it hands-on is the best way to learn. And the best part is everything you cook, you eat! Our cooking classes are not just for beginners. While you might be an experienced cook, are the ingredients you’re using actually good for you? At Cedarvale you’ll be empowered to prepare meals that help you achieve optimal health. Each guest receives a complimentary pack of recipes used at Cedarvale. It provides an excellent range of all types of recipes including:

To improve your cooking skills, it’s helpful to have a foundational knowledge of good nutrition. As an introduction to the cooking classes, our dietician provides an informative talk on the aspects and preparation of science-based nutrition. This foundation provides a platform on which to improve your dietary habits. In addition, Cedarvale also has an excellent assortment of resources such as books and DVD’s which are available to guests during their stay.
